"Working with the DSNC allowed me to work with my teacher and my classmates in a totally new level. It allowed me to be a team player as well as a leader. When I worked with the DSNC I was able to gain abilities in editing, writing as well as working together in a team. Though we faced a few arguments, and a few setbacks, the entire process was a great initiative. The experience of making a broadcast and mentoring a class to do so as well was an awesome experience, and I hope to continue contributing to the DSNC in its future endeavors."

"Being a part of the Dubai Scholars News Channel for the past 2 years generally helped me to grow as a person and made me realise that life isn't like it seems through rose-coloured glasses. Although a few members of the original DSNC team are not with us in school today, they and all the other members have made this an event to remember in the years to come!"

"Working for the DSNC was an opportunity that I didn't realize I needed. Other than occasionally retrieving information and working with the camera - which succoured my abilities to work with a team - I also got to work as an editor. This allowed me time to get more familiar with various softwares, and at the same time, granted me to develop and hone my skills to be able to dramatically work on the aesthetic and technical aspects of videos. Overall, it has been an immensely insightful experience which I'm grateful for."
